About Me

I've been working with athletes all my life. In early years it was the four-legged variety; horses and dogs. In 2003 I completed over 700 hours of study in massage, anatomy and physiology at the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health in Manchester, New Hampshire. I passed the National Certification Board exams in the top percentile and complete more than 12 hours of continuing education training every year that I am licensed. I perform hundreds of hours of clinical work yearly and volunteer my skills to professional organizations. I have submitted to rigorous licensing requirements in Florida, North Carolina, New Hampshire, and Maine. Places I have been employed included The Wentworth Hotel & Spa by Marriott in New Castle, New Hampshire, Exeter Hospital’s Synergy Fitness and Cardiac Rehab center in Exeter, New Hampshire, Dr. Azar Korby’s general practice in Salem, New Hampshire, Raymond Chiropractic in Raymond, NH and currently at Pro Motion Rehab in Murphy, NC. I am always looking for ways to expanding my skills for the good of my clients and my private practice.

I am a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association, participated in the NH AMTA Sports Massage Team and the Positive Steps Positive Peddlers Pan Mass Challenge Massage Team. Since 2003 I have logged hundreds of hours with leaders in orthopedic massage and have helped hundreds of active people participate in life with less pain and more movement by utilizing the body's own physiology to correct imbalances. My specialty is in AIS, a stretching protocol that when combined with myoskeletal techniques will propel your body to the next level in reaching your goals for proper function and alignment. I combine relaxation with rehabilitative therapy so you get the best of both worlds for your time and money. I am not a chiropractor! I use my knowledge of the human body, anatomy and myophysiology to bring balance to the body using its own natural reflexes.

Couples Massage classes, Stretching classes, Chair Massage and Golf Flexology are fun ways for me to connect with the public. Check out the Services and Rates link on the left to choose or combine services to create a session that is a perfect fit for you.

Positively,

Melissa
